All blade sizes are available in curved Macintosh USA or European styles and Straight Miller pattern. Kay & Company products specifications of conventional hook-on type blade-handle rigid Laryngoscope fittings conform to ISO 7376(1) and ASTM (F965) requirements suitable for use in medical applications concerning the human larynx. These detachable blade and handle combinations engage, lock, retain and illuminate at the distal end when the blade is placed in operating position on the handle and in any orientation.
Conventional standard line carries a high-intensity pressurized bulb as its light source which provides maximum efficiency and bright illumination having an unobstructed cool bright light beam focused at the blade tip. Hence the accuracy of the intubations process is not jeopardized. Conventional light transmission assures less patient trauma and risk freee intubations. Position of the bulb is accident free and well protected against hazards and blades can bear shocks caused by incidental fall ensuring that each one will operate upto high performance standards. All our Conventional  blades and handles confirm to ISO fitting standards.
Kay & Company manufactures extensive line of unique design stainless steel knurled handles for conventional blades, green Conventional blades, autoclavable ATLANTIC waterproof handles, which are especially fabricated for a firm grip, available in traditional medium C, pen-light AA battery and stubby handle sizes, are suitable to accept laryngoscope blades of the Macintosh, Miller & Wisconsin designs. According to individual preference both, mercury frees alkaline or nickel –cadium (Ni-Cd) rechargeable batteries can be used as energy source. All our standard and waterproof handles confirm to ISO 7376 (1/2) & ASTM F 965-99 and firbre optic handles comply with ISO 7376 (3) & ASTM F 1195-99 specifications.
