Blood Lancets are the devices that are used to measure the ratio of Glucose
in blood i.e Blood sugar.Lancets are not the same as syringe needles. They have
a very short, sharp tip, made to puncture the skin and produce a blood drop.
The tip is specially designed for easy puncturing which minimizes patient trauma.
. They may be held in your hand or used in a spring-loaded lancet device. Lancet
devices allow consistent depth of penetration but can be harder to aim exactly.
